ABOUT ME

I'm Danielle Marcellus, a visual media artist specializing in graphic design, animation, and photography. I am graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Visual Media and a minor in Psychology in May of 2022.

The inspiration for the Style Revival project came from my love of thrift shopping and interest in sustainability. I wanted to educate others on the harm of the fast fashion industry and encourage them to try secondhand shopping instead. I've been thrift shopping since I was a kid, and Rochester has so many cool spots I wanted to share.

This project has been so much fun to work on and has grown my skills in many ways. I have loved creating work to inspire action in others and sharing what I am passionate about. After I graduate from college, I plan to put my artistic skills to use in a career in the creative industry. I aspire to integrate my love of traveling with my passion to create, and plan to keep thrifting as a hobby for the rest of my life!
